Here I have for sale a rebuilt Coscast cylinder head for the C20XE/LET engine.

It was fully stripped and rebuilt approx 10k miles ago by AVA in Glasgow during which time the head was also skimmed. The head is cast by Cosworth so it doesn't go 'pourous' like the GM heads. It also has chunkier valve guides and so is the ideal choice when going for big power.

It was run in my mk3 and then mk2 Astra turbos running approx 300 horsepower and never missed a beat. The oil was always changed every 2k miles with genuine vaux 10~40 oil. The valve stem seals were also replaced recently.

These are getting harder to find now, especially well looked after ones.

Please note that this auction is for the head only, no cams or inlet manifold. Postage is £20 to any UK address. Collection welcome.

A: Yes, all that has been removed from the head as you see it is the camshafts and inlet manifold assembly. I'll add some bigger and better pictures tomorrow.
