Cordyline australis - or Cornish Palm. - These are evergreen plants that are quite hardy, require very little maintenance and grow quite quickly once established. We have grown these from last years seed, from our own palm in the garden, which is four years old and stands at a whopping 18ft. - They are very common in our coastal areas where they are totally unaffected by the salty sprays. - The lower strap-shaped leaves turn a greenish yellow and die as the plant grows and then starts to form a trunk, these leaves can be cut off, close to the stem to promote new cetre growth, and speeds up the growing process. Mature trees will send out a flowery spike of creamy-white flowers, usually after the third year.

These palms need extra watering in very dry conditions, and are hardy for winter.

The plant you will receive are 3ft  in prime condition. The plant have been over wintered, and are very hardy, and have new centre leaves growing. All sizes are approx.
