Note -- you will need a Midi Encoder and power supply.

Switchbox, Converts Player Piano or Player Pipe, (reed) Organ
To Electrical signals.

These signals can then be take to a MIDI Encoder to convert to Midi Out signals.

Can be used on "Vacuum" or "Pressure" operated instruments.
Vacuum - Connect a vacuum source to the inlet pipe on the switchbox
Pressure - Leave the Pipe open to Atmosphere.

Can be used on 65 - 58 - 88 note instruments, or any number of notes up to 88.

The electrical signals can be used directly to power "Solenoids" (pallet magnets).
Or taken to a MIDI encoder which will convert them to Midi signals.
These signals can then be recorded by using a Midi filer or computer.

Picture 2 is a drawing I used to get the general idea.

A lot of thought and time has gone into building this unit.
When tested, the switchbox worked perfectly.
