You are looking at a Brand New converter cable Part Number:CHD0408

 

If you have a server board that requires a 8-pin connector, you don't have to buy a expensive power supply with 8-pin power connector. You can just use this adapter cable to make your existing standard 4-pin connector work as a 8-pin connector if your power supply is 400w or more.

 

UL/CSA certified for safety. Cable length is 6"

 

 

This is used to convert 4-pin connector into Xeon or Opteron 8-pin connector, normally PS is at least 400W to qualify for the conversion.
