Description
Carpex Plus is a low viscosity, clear liquid with a clean fragrance. It is a blend of emulsifiers, detergents, safety solvents, soil anti-redepositation agents, perfume and dye in an aqueous base.
Uses
Carpex Plus is specially designed for cleaning carpets and upholstery using the spray extraction technique. It can be used with either hot or cold water, although hot water gives the best results. Carpex Plus is designed for use as a pre-spotter for breaking up greasy deposits before going over the area with a hot water extraction machine.
Carpex Plus is ideal for use in hotels, clubs, public houses, nursing homes, residential homes, offices, car valeting, bus and coach companies etc
Directions and dilutions
Always thoroughly vacuum the carpet before any wet cleaning process.
Dilute Carpex Plus with hot water in the detergent tank of the extraction machine as follows:
· Normal use: 1 part of Carpex Plus to 80 parts of hot water
· Heavy duty: 1 part of Carpex Plus to 40 parts of hot water
Clean the carpet / fabric taking care to extract as much liquid as possible. Go over areas of high dirt levels several times if necessary. Do not rub the carpet and use the lance in a slow steady motion.
Allow the carpet / fabric to dry, preferably overnight. Any furniture should be moved away from the wet carpet areas, or placed on waterproof coasters to prevent the risk of staining from metal castors etc.
For severe soiling and grease spots, pre-spray affected area with neat Carpex Plus and allow to soak for a few seconds before cleaning the carpet as normal with a hot water extraction machine.
NB Carpex Plus is suitable for use on materials that can tolerate water. Do not use on any fabric that must be dry cleaned. Always test a small unobtrusive area of carpet / fabric with a white cloth dipped in the solution of Carpex Plus to be used to check for colour fastness.
