Compaq iPAQ 3970 Pocket PC, Bluetooth +stand +CF jacket

It is in very good condition.  There are minor scratches on the back (see picture) where it has been inserted into the sleeves a number of times.  The Compact Flash sleeve is in OK condition - some scratches and scuff marks, but works a treat.  I've used it with the Margi Presenter-to-Go to display Memory Maps on a VGA screen and it's great.  All the standard software is on there including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and NEVO which you can use to remote control TVs etc.

The iPAQ 3900 Series Pocket PCs were the third generation of iPAQs and the first to feature XScale processors. Aesthetically similar to the iPAQ 3800 series, the iPAQ h3950 and h3970 were also the last iPAQs to carry the Compaq logo.

In addition to being powered by the 400MHz XScale processor from Intel, the iPAQ 3900s featured an SDIO slot. Another improvement that made the 3900 series a hit was its front-lit screen, called a transreflective, or transflective, TFT. Transreflective screens are brighter and crisper than reflective displays and make viewing easier on the eyes in both indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. A new IR port with increased range was used in the 3900s for better universal remote functionality.

The iPAQ 3970 differs from the 3950 in two ways. First, it has 48MB of Flash ROM for larger future OS upgrades and a larger file store. Second, it has onboard Bluetooth capabilities like the 3870.
