This is for a Compaq Armada E500 Intel Pentium 3 Laptop for SPARES OR REPAIR.

When plugged in the laptop powers and passes POST fine but has an unknown Bios (setup) password. The screen does not display, though external VGA is fine. There is no hard drive or caddy. The battery is present but does not seem to charge and there is a CD drive fitted in the media bay. The UK keyboard is present and complete. There is 1 missing case screw from underneath. The lid catch is good and the hinges are good. The case is cracked arund both lid hinges.

The courier I use is Initial Citylink, this is specifically because they will not leave a delivery at any other address than the one I tell them to and they will not leave anything without a signature. Therefore delivery will need to be to an address where there will be someone to receive it. I will also ask for a contact telephone number of the delivery address to enable the driver to make contact in the event of a delivery problem.
