A mid Victorian English sterling silver rectangular vesta case, rounded ends, engine turned decoration, double crested cartouche, two hinged compartments, one with a cheroot cutter, striker to the cutter end, also incised inside for the retailer 'Bryant, 286 Regent Street' , made in London in 1865 by Thomas W Dee.

At 2.6 inches / 6.5 cm long, weight is 1.8 Troy oz / 56gm. Apart from wear commensurate with age, the condition is very good, one very small push on the cover.
