Colorsound Wah from Sola Sound London Wah-Wah

Larry and Joe Macari ( our Dads ) started the Sola Sound company back in 1962 and went on to make a line of effects pedals called Colorsound . We're very pround to be carrying on that tradition - still producing the old favorites plus now and then something new - like the Dick Denney Fuzz box and the .. . .  ah well - watch this space - there are some exciting new products in the pipeline .

All the Colorsound effects are lovingly hand built in the UK using top quailty components - we are still using the original machines for pressing out the cases - same man does the artwork and the same ears do the testing !

We like to think it's the World's funkiest Wah

We got a bunch of them in stock in this shiny black hammerite finish

What we concentrate on with our wah is a really smooth woooooooaaaaaarrh sound with lots of travel so you've got plenty of control over the mids - the vowely part of the sound - this way you get lots of quack for funky rhythm parts and loads of grint* when you use it overdriven .

This pedal was designed by Dick Denney - the mastermind who designed the Vox AC30 amongst other things . Mr Denny is no longer with us but happily his uncanny ability to create awesome tones lives on through our Wah - We love it !!!
