Colorsound TC Tonebender from Sola Sound London

Larry and Joe Macari ( our Dads ) started the Sola Sound company back in 1962 and went on to make a line of effects pedals called Colorsound . We're very pround to be carrying on that tradition - still producing the old favorites plus now and then something new - like the Dick Denney Fuzz box and the .. . .  ah well - watch this space - there are some exciting new products in the pipeline .

All the Colorsound effects are lovingly hand built in the UK using top quailty components - we are still using the original machines for pressing out the cases - same man does the artwork and the same ears do the testing !

We had a hard time making the prototype for this one - every mid seventies Tonebender we opened had different insides - so we took our ten best sounding ones and slowly whittled away till we had a winner - and thats what we based this on - we've used three silicon transistors just like the mid seventies original (so very Mark Bolan / Frank Zappa)  still all hand wired and still totally cool - we're very proud to put our name on it .
