Straight from America, Colette Patterns is a hot new collection of vintage inspired dressmaking patterns for the crafty lady who loves design details, is inspired by vintage style, and wants clothing that’s made just for her. They are inspired by the past, but with modern touches that make them easy to wear. Each is easily adapted in a range of versatile fabrics, and the styles are set apart by practical details such as pockets, and cuts that flatter a variety of figures. They’re the kind of clothes you could see hanging at your favorite clothing boutique!

Each pattern comes packaged in a beautifully printed booklet with a fine linen-textured cover and stitched binding. The instructions are clearly illustrated, and each includes a glossary of sewing terms and special area for the sewist’s own notes.

The Parfait Dress

A versatile dress, designed to be worn as either a sun dress or layered over a shirt or blouse as a pinafore style in cooler weather. Features a gathered bust and flattering curved midriff that fits snugly around the high waist. The straps and gathered pockets fasten with buttons. Skirt is a gently flared six-gore style. Closes with a side invisible zipper.

Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight such as silk or viscose crepe, silk charmeuse, silk habotei, lightweight jacquard; or mediumweight such as gabardine, tropical wool, twill. I also sell some beautiful fabrics so check out my other items to see if you find something you like!

Postage

Postage costs are £1.25 per pattern, first class delivery, plus 25p for each additional pattern. Items will be despatched once payment has been received.
