This is a handmade figure - crafted in Kyalitsha township (Cape Town South Africa) and made from a single Coke can!!

We have visited this township and become involved with the people making these items. They sell them to tourists visiting Cape Town but we felt that it might be possible to take their skills to a wider audience and hopefully ensure their products can be sold worldwide - and in a small way thus improve their meagre wealth.

We pay a fair price to the craftsmen (each item takes at least an hour or two to make) and order new stock several times a year.

Obviously we make a profit - but we hope you will agree that the retail price is still amazingly cheap for such a uniquely sculpted piece of art.

Since every item is individually crafted (and by different craftsmen) there may be very slight differences to the above photo - sometimes slightly larger (all figures are about 6-8" high though) and sometimes a different pose.
