This cover is turned on a lathe and milled from a massive aluminum block. It is a special feature of the window cover that a polycarbonate disk has been embedded exactly fitting in the milled form. The result is a closed system offering full transparency.

This is a quite expensive way of manufacturing a clutch cover. On the other hand, the result is a top-class clutch cover with many advantages:

Alle unsere Kupplungsdeckel sind sehr sauber aus dem vollen Aluminiumblock gefräst. Die Bruchdehnung ist um ein Vielfaches höher als bei einem Gußdeckel, und das ist bei einem Sturz entscheidend für das Überleben der Kupplung. Der Wert dieses Anbauteiles ist an den Dreh- und Frässpuren für jeden eindeutig zu erkennen. VA-Schrauben sind im Lieferumfang enthalten. Die Besonderheit des Window-Deckels liegt darin, daß eine Polycarbonatscheibe passgenau in die ausgefräste Form eingebettet wurde. Das Ergebnis ist ein geschlossenes System mit vollem Einblick.
