A brilliant self - closing stairgate that fits a narrow opening - anything from 61cm to 67cm.  It comes complete with screw-on or stick-on wall cups.  I have contacted clippasafe and bought a new pack of these.  Complete with instructions. 

You can buy extensions and spindles to connect it to round stair posts or to slightly wider gaps.

My youngest daughter (just under 2) has tried to climb on it at the bottom of the stairs and it has held her weight (attached to wall by stick-on wall cups).  Its really quick and easy to fix and when we have got annoyed at the self-closing nature - we have attached some elastic around the frame so that it doesn't automatically close.
