| Payment
We ask that all goods are paid for prior to delivery with cleared funds and are made through Paypal – which you can do instantly using your debit or credit card. We do not charge you for using Paypal.
Confirmation – We will send you a confirmation message to your eBay registered email account once your have bought any product at our eBay shop.
Unpaid Goods - Please note that payment must be received within 3 days after you have finished shopping in our eBay shop. Where payment is not received in this time we will start the unpaid item process with eBay and block the user id from buying any of our products.
VAT – All our prices are quoted inclusive of VAT at the then current rate in force in the UK.
Delivery
Time of delivery - We try to send out all goods within 72 hours of payment being received and will usually dispatch within 24 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays). Orders received and paid for by 12 Noon will be sent out on the same day. All our goods are delivered by courier to your stated postal address (in mainland UK only). Please note that we can only deliver to the address that your payment card through Paypal is registered at. A signature will be required on delivery. Our standard delivery service is for Monday - Friday only; there is a premium charge of £25 for Saturday delivery. We ask for your full name, delivery address, best date and time for delivery. A daytime contact telephone number must also be supplied for all purchases. This will be used by our couriers to ensure as fast a delivery time as possible and to contact you if there is a problem in delivery. If you have any questions or issues with delivery then you can contact our courier service directly on 0113 243 5765 – choose option 2 and please quote the consignment number issued to you by email by our couriers.
Alternative delivery address - If you would like us to deliver to a different address from your stated postal address, such as to a work address, or on a specific day, please email us before we send out the goods (info@avantebathrooms.com). We cannot change the delivery address once the goods have already been sent out. We do not deliver to PO Boxes or to hotels and hostels.
Goods are insured against damage in transit to Road Haulage standard terms (£13.00 per kilo with no cover for consequential loss). If you require further cover then please contact our carrier directly about this. Please email us within 48 hours if goods are found to be damaged in transit.
Delivery process – When your goods are sent out we will provide you with a reference number to follow the delivery process directly with courier. If no one is available to sign for the goods, our courier will leave a contact card. Unless you contact them to rearrange delivery, they will try to deliver for a second time the following day. After two failed attempts to deliver, our courier will hold your parcel for a maximum of 5 days. If during that time you do not contact them, the goods will be returned to Avante Bathrooms. We reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of returning the goods to us.
No guarantee – All delivery times stated are estimates only. Events beyond our control can lead to delays or non-delivery and therefore we cannot be held responsible for late delivery. Please bear this in mind if booking in tradesmen for fitting, or arranging days off work.
Checking of deliveries - Please check your delivery whilst the courier is still present and do not sign for the goods until you are fully satisfied. Please contact us at info@avantebathrooms.com, within 48 hours, if:
· We have supplied any goods to you by mistake;
· Your delivery is not complete;
· Goods are damaged or have gone missing in transit.
You should state your eBay item number, your buyer user id, delivery address and details of any damage, and we will be pleased to help sort out any issues as quickly as possible.
Returns
Please note that these Terms do not in any way affect your STATUTORY RIGHTS
Return and refund in according with the Distance Selling Regulations - Where you have bought goods for your own private use as a consumer (as opposed to business use) and want to exercise your right to cancel the contract you must notify our Customer Service team via email at info@avantebathrooms.com within 7 working days after the date of receipt of the delivery and return the ordered goods to us. However, you may NOT return and claim a refund for goods that have been made to your specification or ones that have been clearly personalised. The return of any such goods WILL BE AT YOUR OWN COST.
How to return Products - Please note that when you return goods under these terms, both the goods themselves and any original packaging must be in perfect condition. You must also include all accessories, instructions and care guides and any free gifts that came with the goods. If not, the goods will be sent back to you and you will be charged for the goods and the delivery cost.
Where goods have been bought as a part of a bundle of goods, ALL goods within that bundle must be returned.
We will send you a goods return authorisation label and goods will not be accepted without this being attached. We suggest you use a traceable and insured delivery agent to return the goods to us. The courier we used to deliver to you will have left a card with the goods and are able to quote for you to return products to us at your cost. If we do not receive all the goods from you we may arrange to collect the goods from you, at your cost.
If you return goods 1) that you are not entitled to return 2) that are not in their original condition, 3) without proper or missing packaging, 4) with goods missing from the return delivery 5) without having paid for the delivery or 6) have otherwise failed to exercise reasonable care when taking care of and returning goods, we reserve the right either to reject your return and decline to refund or to charge you reasonable repair, restocking or other similar direct costs that we have incurred from those payments to be refunded to you (subject to applicable law).
On acceptable return of goods, we will refund you the price you have actually paid, for goods less any fees and charges due to Avante Bathrooms (as per the above), by crediting your payment card through Paypal. Please note that we will NOT refund the original delivery costs or any return costs.
Goods Warranty
Please note that these Terms do not in any way affect your STATUTORY RIGHTS
All our goods sold as “new” are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery to you. If you believe you are entitled to a replacement or repair of your goods under warranty, please contact us by email at info@avantebathrooms.com including a detailed description of the fault with the product. Photographic evidence would also be very helpful for us to identify the problem. This warranty specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or faults caused by incorrect installation. There is no warranty on products not installed by a professional. Routine maintenance, if needed, is also not covered under this warranty. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover delivery costs for the return of damaged items. We will carefully examine all goods that we receive to confirm that the returned product is covered by the warranty. For those goods covered by warranty, Avante Bathrooms will replace the item (either with the same product or one of the same or greater specifications) or offer a refund in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to charge you for delivery and return of any goods returned to us that are not covered by warranty as well as the fees for our technical examination of the item.
