VINTAGE SWISS FIRE SERVICE SET - FIRE HELMET AND TUNIC.

THIS LOT COMPRISES OF THE CLASSIC HELMET OF THE FIRE SERVICES OF SWITZERLAND AND A FIREFIGHTER'S TUNIC. THE HELMET IS OF STEEL, IN THE SHAPE UNIQUE TO THE SWISS FIRE SERVICES, AND HAS A LARGE WHITE-METAL CROSS TO THE FRONT. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, IT IS STAMPED INSIDE ' F 82071 ', AND ITS HEADLINER AND CHINSTRAP ARE INTACT. NO SIZE IS STATED. THE TUNIC IS OF VERY ROUGH MATERIAL (SIMILAR TO 'KERSEY'). IT HAS RED PIPING TO COLLAR, CUFFS AND DOWN THE FRONT. THERE ARE 5 LARGE BUTTONS WITH A SWISS CROSS AND CROSSED FIRE AXES THEREON. PLEASE NOTE, THE HEAD IS USED FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY, AND IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE.
