Here the electric guitar solo, while dated-sounding, shows off the superb skill of special guest Anton Drennan, while Maire Brennan's voice is particularly inspired. Other hits, such as "Theme from Harry's Game" and "Robin (The Hooded Man)" come from music Clannad recorded for the eponymous British television series. The former, with its lush vocal choir, is one of the band's most haunting ambient/new age tunes. Finally, "Something to Believe In" features the vocals and piano playing of Bruce Hornsby, and is smartly co-produced by former Jackson Browne drummer, Russ Kunkel. A must for fans, PASTPRESENT is also a good starting point for neophytes.

We grade our records in the following way

MINT: The record is brand new with no marks or deteriortion in sound quality.  Extra items and cover perfect

EXCELLENT: Shows signs of being played but with very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and extras might have slight wear, sticker marking and or creasing

VERY GOOD: Has been played many times but has no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.  Cover and extras will have normal wear and tear/sticker damage but no major defects

GOOD: Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated with some distortion and mild scratches.  The cover and extras suffer from folding scuffing and split spine, discoloration ect.

FAIR: The record is still just playable and has considerable surface noise and may even jump.  Cover and contents will be torn stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly. Covers badly damaged or partly missing

Bad: Unplayable, possibly broken. Only of use as a collection filler.
