Whose Side Are You On?
90% of my comics don't show up in search results and are only available HERE!!
Enough is enough! The tension between the X-Men, the 198 and the O*N*E* has finally reached a breaking point. As Civil War rips apart the Marvel Universe, the X-Men also find themselves crumbling from the inside out. Will they admit defeat, or will they finally start to fight back? Collects Civil War: X-Men #1-4.
Civil War Background
The New Warriors, a bunch of C-List super heroes trying to reinvigorate their careers, have had a reality TV show made for them based on their exploits, they have been doing this for a while now. Not ever being able to fight, and beat REAL A-List villains, they finally see their chance, a gang of super-villains at a suburban hideout, not even, in costume. They irresponsibly take the fight outside, next to an elementary school. What happens next, is tragedy. One of the villains lets off a small nuclear explosion, killing the camera crew, The New Warriors, and everyone in the school. This is a national tragedy, with massive ramifications. The public ARE NOT happy, children have died, families have been torn, responsibility must be taken, somebody has to be made an example of. The public speak the heroes of the MU need to be accounted for.
Who are these people? What gives them the right to take care of us? Police us? To throw around their powers the way they do? These are the questions being asked by the public, and, the American government. In Washington, The Super Hero registration act is passed, sponsored by S.H.I.E.L.D. This means, that every acting super hero in the country, or those with powers even, has to give themselves up to S.H.I.E.L.D, their identity, their history, and the source of their powers. In return, they end up on the S.H.I.E.L.D payroll, put in special homing, serve their country, and are watched and accounted for at all times. Iron Man, (Tony Stark,) is the 1st to give himself up, and begs all the heroes to follow suit. To become part of the system, and make the system better, he believes, is the most important thing. Best friend, and fellow key player of the MU, Captain America, is in vicious opposition. Captain America stands for what the ideals of America should be, and one of those fundamental ideals, freedom, is being raped in his eyes. He is disgusted by this move made by his government, and his best friend.
This fracture runs straight through the entire MU, splitting everyone down the middle. Alliances are made, teams are broken, heroes and villains alike. Former foes are now fighting side by side; former allies are now out for blood against each and other. Some heroes become villains, as does villains become heroes, some just quit or go into hiding. Heroes and villains alike will die. This is war, no side is right, no side is wrong, just people fighting for what they believe are their rights, and are their civil liberties. There are two sides, the side working with the government, and an underground revolution of heroes

Many more things in my Shop!
----------------------------------------------------
Most of my items won't show up in an Ebay search, they just appear in my shop, click the link above to see.
What you are bidding for is one of the many comics I have collected over the last 30 years.
Any of my comics dated later than 1990 should be at least VFN with most being NM.
The rest are in reasonable condition for their age with no major defects (unless expressly stated).
They have been stored in a cool, dark place while I went off to have kids etc. They will arrive to you bagged and boarded although not all have been stored this way.
I really wanted to leave these to my children but fate intervened and gave me a degenerative nerve disease so I'm running out of time. I can't give them to my boys yet (they're too young at 6 & 7) and I don't trust their mother to keep the books safe for them so I've decided to sell them to raise the £1000 or so I need for a mobility vehicle. At least then the boys and I can go out and do fun stuff together.
I will combine any items purchased within 3 days of each other, as long as you don't pay until you're done.
Thanks for looking and listening
Good Luck!

This is VERY important! My P+P charges cover my costs. NOT just the price of stamps. Some people charge higher prices for the items and charge postage at cost. I don't. I make no secret of this and I'm not out to rip anyone off. The overall price I charge is what I need to get to make this economic for me. I could charge higher prices & less postage but I think that my way is fairer. If you have a query, a concern, a gripe, an offer or just want to say hi - msg me. Telling me that I messed up within a negative feedback comment is not helpful or productive to either of us.
I am disabled so other people have to go to the Post Office for me - usually on a Saturday or a Wednesday. So if you pay for an item on a Saturday it may not get sent out for 4 days. If you're not happy with this PLEASE DO NOT BID. Being marked down on Feedback for slow delivery happens quite a lot and seems really unfair to me. I always do my best to keep my customers happy.
Parcels are sent out 1st class and I always get proof of posting. So if you haven't received your item within a week of your payment clearing please contact me.
When you bid for an item you confirm that you have read and understood any terms, conditions and costs involved in that transaction. If you have read the above and do not understand anything you are welcome to ask me. None of my costs or conditions are hidden or designed to rip you off. If you have any questions, doubts, insults or just want to say hi, please message me.
Thanks, Graham
