Calico by Queens
Queens is part of the Churchill Group. The name Queens originates from the factory where Churchill decorates much of their china.
In the late 1990s Burgess and Leigh fell on hard times and had to make cutbacks in order avoid bankruptcy, leading to partial copyright of the calico design being acquired by the Churchill Group.
Churchill pride themselves in maintaining consistency of the Queens Calico Pattern which is clear and does not have the variation of clarity and shade that appears in the Burgess and Leigh design. Close scrutiny may reveal minor differences to the print from the original calico design but both patterns blend beautifully creating an amazing display on any dresser or dining table.
