Christian Dior Pave Rhinestone Teardrop Earrings

Beautiful sparkling pave set clear rhinestones set on a gold tone metal tear drop and signed Chr Dior for Christian Dior. Earrings are clip backs and are signed with a c so these are vintage Dior earrings no less.

Condition is near mint and each measures approx. 3/4" x 1/2".

CONDITION RATING EXPLANATION

MINT: In the original box (from which it has never been removed), as it came from the factory. This criteria is so difficult to meet, that it is almost NEVER used.

NEAR MINT:

Appears to be never worn or used, nor stored improperly. It may display its age by tarnishing, especially in silver (once polished, however, it is no longer Near Mint).

EXCELLENT:

Top condition with no chipping, fading, missing stones, no yellowing stones, no peeling, no worn prongs or edges. Backs (especially of earrings) may be very slightly worn as long as the front is still in Top Condition. Replaced stones should be so perfect in size cut and color that it is virtually unnoticeable.

VERY GOOD:

Well cared for with no missing stones, no dead stones or graying stones, no peeling pearls, enamel may have minor chips, may show slight wear or scratching on prongs, edges. Backs may be very moderately worn. Replaced stones should be a good match in size, cut and color.

GOOD:

Very wearable and acceptable, however, upon close inspection may reveal some poor foiling including spotting( the small "pepper" kind), minor clouding and minor darkening or graying stones, chipping, minor yellowing and wear.

FAIR:

Damage is immediately visible and may or may not be repairable, and might include missing stones,dark stones including spotting that is more than "pepper", broken parts, & severe wear.

In addition these subcategories may exist, along with appropriate explanations: ALTERED, REFURBISHED, RECONSTRUCTION, SOLDERED.

Condition versus Quality: Each piece of jewelry is evaluated according to condition. See above. The condition rating does not address the original quality. Costume jewelry was and is made in all grades of quality. A goodly amount of costume jewelry that was inexpensively made has become collectible. Quality is difficult to rate and isn't always apparent in the pictures . If your purchase does not meet your expectations, please let me know.

Return Policy & Instructions for a Return

If you should for any reason wish to return a purchase we will provide a refund on the purchase price less the cost of the original insured shipping and insurance after the customer has: 1) E-mailed D & L Vintage Boston-C.D. Miner Inc. within three days of receiving it and of their decision to return the piece 2) Has shipped the item back to us the next business day - in it's original condition and at their own cost. 3) Item must be returned and received by D & L Vintage Boston within 7-10 days of customer contacting D & L Vintage Boston C.D. Miner,Inc.

If you are unhappy with the item please contact me and return it.

As far as feedback goes we are so very busy getting items listed and packed to ship that we only have time to leave feedback after the customer leaves feedback for us. Continental USA Only: For shipments in the USA we include insurance and delivery confirmation. Once a customers payment has cleared and we've shipped the item we include the delivery confirmation number and carrier name in the customers Ebay order. This way the customer can check the status of the order thru the carrier's web site if desired or simply know the order is en route to them.

We ship most items thru the USPS which recently increased rates for shipping both International and Domestic.

For Domestic Shipping we include delivery confirmation with all our shipments which adds to the cost of shipping. We usually box glassware in a double box if plate glass is used and extra cardboard effects the weight and costs more. We use bubble wrap to protect the auction item and this is expensive too. We charge actual costs for shipping and if possible will combine like items that fit in the same box if multiple auctions are won and ship to the same address.

We sell and ship world wide for most items. Insurance is in addition to these amounts when shipping overseas and will be quoted on an individual basis. International rates thru the USPS have greatly increased and for items over 2 lbs. in weight we find it necessary to pack the items for overseas shipment first since every ounce counts. We charge actual costs plus packing costs for our International orders too.

International orders shipping into countries with International Priority Mail or First Class International Mail.Larger items are quoted individually.
International Buyers Please Note: * Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. * Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. * These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. * We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
Since we sell vintage and antique items packing is critical since the items cannot be replaced if broken or lost.

Please note these items on our site are subject to a prior sale, occasionally there can be a delay in marking items sold.

Damage Policy:
We pack all of our items extremely carefully in order to minimize the chance of damage during shipment. Should the unthinkable happen and your order does arrive damaged, you must take the entire order ( all contents and the origional packaging material (boxes,packing material etc.)) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will return the claim to us for processing. Please don't repack and don't mail the damaged items back to us. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to provide you with a refund.

Order Processing Policy:
After you place an order or win the auction, you will receive an emailed confirmation (invoice) that your order was placed. If your payment is not received within these three days then the hold will be removed from the item and the item (s) will be returned to stock. Current applicable fees will be charged in case of bounced checks. Normal shipping and handling time is one to two business days after your payment is cleared. We ship as quickly as humanly possible and will email you in case there are delays in shipping your order.

Insurance is required for all domestic shipments the the USPS. International orders shipping via USPS First class mail have the option of using registered mail service which provides a secured method of tracking for the item. If the International buyer does not want to purchase this registered service then they must be willing to accept 100% risk should the item be lost or stolen. On International shipments with Priority Mail via the USPS there is insurance available now too for this service.
