Otherwise known as Stress Balls and/or Health Balls..
..The Baoding Iron Ball, famed as one of the “three treasures” of Baoding, China, is a traditional product renowned at home and abroad. The production of the Baoding Iron Ball (Chinese Health Balls) dates back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), with the skill being carefully passed on and the health balls continuing to be made through the ages by skilled Baoding craftsmen.
Originally, the Baoding Iron Ball was a solid sphere, but later, as they improved the design, they changed to a hollow ball that enclosed a sounding plate. Each pair of balls will have one which produces a high tone and the other a low tone. These lighter balls are easier to handle and the musical tones contribute to the relaxation process that results from exercising with them.
The Iron Ball is considered a national treasure because of its ability to enhance the user’s health and well-being.

Iron balls chime when moved in the hand or are gently shaken and come in their own brocade box, as shown in the picture below.

** Beginners **
If you are new to using health balls you may prefer to begin with a smaller size, moving on to a larger size as you become more proficient. You may then choose to use 3 or 4 balls at a time as your skill continues to improve.
I have measured around the circumference of the iron balls and the following is a rough guide to their sizes:
Patterned/Decorated Balls
Small 4.75" Large 6"
Steel/Silver Colour Balls
Small 4.5" Large 5.5"
Measurements are approximate, but as close as I can get them and should give you an idea of the size you would be comfortable with.

I understand it is disappointing to receive an item through the post damaged, or not receive it all! Thankfully this is a rare occurrence, but should the worst happen, the easiest and quickest way to deal with it is to contact me with the details as soon as possible (see terms and conditions). In the case of damaged goods I will require a photograph to assist with the claim and ask that you please hold on to the item and its packaging for 28 days as Royal Mail may ask to see it. Should this happen they will provide you with a prepaid label to send the item on to them.
