You are looking at an auction for an original UK quad poster to the film

CHINATOWN

released in 1974

Directed by Roman Polanski, this classic film noir stars Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway and the poster to the film is highly sort after.

The poster measures 30 by 40 inches or 76 by 102cm and is folded in the manner that posters were stored at the time. I obtained the poster from a cinema that closed in the 80s.

Done in an illustration style, the poster has only a couple of small holes in it, which are well away from the main image. There are no rips or tears along the folds although there is some wear along the edges. All the corners are intact too, if a little worn. Backed or put behind glass this would look great.

The poster was printed by Lonsdale & Bartholomew Ltd of Nottingham.
