Manufactured here in the UK using quality galvanised steel, the design has been modified to to fit different sized chimney pots.

The Bird Guard is spot welded to the side prongs, this then gives more  strength to the whole structure enabling the prongs to be pushed in or pulled out to accommodate the diameter of the chimney.

Suitable for Chimney Pots with a diameter of between:

190mm to 280mm - 7.5" to 11"  

Diameter of the top Cowl - 330mm/13 inch

Depth of Bird Guard 135mm/5 1/4 inch

Height from base of prong to recess 100mm/4inch

Total height is approx 270mm/10.5 inch

Used to prevent rain entering the chimney along with the protection of a Bird Guard

Simply align the three prongs onto the outside of your chimney pot, the hat will then rest on the horizontal return edge at the top of the chimney.

You will be sent a standard Gas Fire Chimney Cowl unless you state that your purchase is for a Chimney Cowl suitable for a Solid Fuel (coal/Wood burning) Fire, see the explanation below:-

These cowls have a wider mesh which allows for the embers to escape and helps prevent some birds entering the chimney.
