Welcome to my listing for this great children's wrap over pyjama sewing pattern.

This is a Laura Marsh Designs original pattern and can only be purchased direct from myself.

These pyjama's are very easy to make and would be an ideal beginners project.

The top of the pyjama's has been styled as a kimono wrap over top, this means the sleeve pattern is included in the main top pattern, which makes it easy to complete for those who are not happy with attaching sleeves to a garment. The top also features button closures, which are on both the inside and outside of the top for security, these could easily be replaced with tie fastenings should you prefer.

The trousers has been designed to be very simple to complete. The pattern has been made to only be a two piece pattern (you'd normally have 4 pieces in a trouser pattern), with a simple elasticated waist.

The picture above features two pyjama sets, only one pattern is included, to create the pyjama's on the right with the shorts rather than trousers you simply need to cut the pattern down to your required length and complete as you would have done for normal trousers.

This pattern will require some knowledge of sewing and an understanding of what pattern symbols mean (if you not sure please search on line for pattern symbols or refer to a good sewing book).

Approximate amounts of fabric required:

 2-3 meters of cotton fabric (2 meters for ages 2-3, 3 meters for ages 4-6)

4 or 6 buttons (you may need 6 buttons for ages 6 and 6, but 4 would suffice)

3/4inch / 2cm elastic – enough to fit the child’s waist measurement.

THIS IS NOT A PRINTED PATTERN:

To save you money this pattern will be sent on a CD in a digital format. This means you can use the pattern over and over again, without worrying about tearing or marking the pattern, so it’s ideal if you need to make any alterations, as if you make a mistake you can simply print another.

The patterns included are age 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (see size chart below). These are FULL SIZE patterns (this is an all in one/multisized pattern so you can adjust the pattern should you be an in between size, and cut the size you need) , so there is no need to worry about enlarging or scaling up the patterns, all you have to do is print them off on A4 paper and assemble the pieces (full printing instructions are included) and cut out the size you need.

Instructions are included with guide photos for reference.

To keep the cost of the patterns down, I will not be sending the CD in a jewel case, the CD will arrive in a protective sleeve, which will be well packaged to ensure it is not damaged in transit, however you may wish to store the CD in a jewel case for future use.

The digital format of the patterns is readable on all computers, you will need to have pdf reading software installed on your PC to view the files. There are many free packages available, a popular one can be found on www.adobe.com, although you may wish to find one which suits you, Microsoft also offer free pdf reading software.

I ship using Royal Mail for most items, unless it's very heavy (see item for details).

For all dresses I will ship via Special Delivery or Recorded First Class, and International Signed For or Airsure for overseas buyers. Other items are normally sent first or second class post. All items of high value are insured with the postal service used. Any other shipping questions, please email me.

Currently payments can be made by PayPal or by Postal Order on special request.
