This book, along with his work, Play the Queen's Gambit, somehow seem to get a lot of use by me, while other more famous books go untouched. Marovic writes with passion, but not in an unbridled manner. He is always a perfect blend of intensity, variations, text, and enthusiasm. This book on the King's Indian is great. I love these Pergamon books from the '80. They were beautifully produced, they had sections covering variations, and each chapter had several illustrative games, and there is a nice index at the back." 248 pages, paperback in good condition.
