Cheshire Collimator for Newtonian Telescopes

Sky's the Limit are proud to offer for sale this  Cheshire Collimator for 1.25" focuser.

A reflector with incorrectly aligned mirrors will give unsatisfactory viewing.  This Cheshire collimator is designed to help you get the mirrors pointing the right way to optimise the viewing experience.

Designed to help you get your mirrors aligned this collimator has a restricted field of view to help you align the crosshairs in the centre of the telescope's optics.  The cleverly angled aluminium plate helps illuminate the target face. 

This model is extra long to increase the accuracy of alignment and is made solidly of metal apart from the eyecup and, yes, the eyecup is slightly distorted in the photo which is caused by the box in which it comes but the eyecup will smooth out with a little warmth if that is likely to bother you.

There are no instructions included but you can find these easily enough on the internet.
