Sail number 2122 ‘Flying Saucer’

She is a very fast boat, in class of her own, exciting to sail especially with a bit of breeze!

She comes complete with all rigging, a full set of sails including Main, Jib & 2 spinnakers.  All other bits required to sail are also included.

Unfortunately, after being left out over the last couple of winters she now needs some TLC but anyone with a little know how could easily complete the work.

The hull is in good condition but the top side need stripping back, sanding and re varnishing.  The transom also needs replacing – please see photos.

The topside is secure but some of the seams where it is attached to the hull will need gluing and tacking to finish correctly.

The sails are in good condition for age but have some mildue so need a clean.

If you refer to the Cherub website www.uk-cherub.org.uk you will be able to get all info about the Cherub class and I’m sure they will be very helpful when bringing her back to her former glory.

The combi trailer and launch trolley are not included as part of this sale back could be obtained in separate negotiation.  Its in good condition but would benefit from a lick of paint.  I towed it 150 miles 2 weeks ago with no problem.
