Rare Cheddar Iver Gauge 1 Locomotive

Description

This auction is for the Cheddar Iver with original factory box. It has not be used but would have been steam tested at the factory prior to dispatch. The Iver was the first locomotive from a series manufactured by Cheddar in UK and designed for entry level garden rail live steamers. It was equipped with many features only found on higher price locomotives. Original magazines articles show the model pulling numerous cars and could be equipped with LGB coupler. An extremely high performance product at a very reasonable price.

Assembled model live steam Cheddar Iver locomotive and ready-to-run (Excludes RC equipment). Powerful oscillating piston/cylinders with forward/reserve and speed control. Standard features include displacement oil lubricator, pressure gauge and water gauge. Efficient gas fired copper boiler with a refillable gas tank. Designed for Gauge 1 garden railway layouts. 11"L x 4.312"W x 6"H. Weight 5.5 lbs
