Original limp vellum boards with gilt titles stamped to front and spine. Top edge gilt. Other edges uncut. Green linen ties. 36 mounted colour plates (12 per volume) by Sir William Russell Flint. Captioned tissue guards. On hand-made Riccardi paper. Pages 235, 217, 183. 4to (27cm by 20.5cm). CONDITION VOLUME ONE Covers are in very good plus condition. A small mark to the titles on the front cover. Some very light soiling/spotting. Internally the pages are clean, bright and in excellent condition throughout. No inscriptions, marks or other blemishes. VOLUME TWO Covers are in very good plus condition. Some very light soiling/spotting. Internally the pages are clean, bright and in excellent condition throughout. No inscriptions, marks or other blemishes. VOLUME THREE Covers are in very good condition. Light browning to the covers. Some very light soiling/spotting. Internally there is some very mild foxing to the very occasional page. Otherwise the pages are clean, bright and in excellent condition throughout.

Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by special delivery with insurance to the full value of the book. There will not be any additional charge for this service, above the stated postage costs. Shipping overseas Shipping rates as detailed below All books under £200 will be sent by Royal Mail airmail within 48 hours of receipt of payment. Books at £200 and over will be sent within 48 hours by Royal Mail 'Airsure' (or 'International Signed For' where 'Airsure' is not available) with insurance to the full value of the book. Once the book has been mailed I will Email you notification together with a reference number which will enable you to track or trace your delivery online. There will not be any additional charge for this service above the stated shipping costs. Combined postage I will combine postage/shipping costs. Where more than one item is purchased please request an invoice when you have finished buying. I will send an amended invoice reflecting the reduced postage/shipping costs.
