I'm selling only selected traditional Tibetan thangkas, painted by Tibetan and Nepalese artists, mostly those ones from Binod Art School (Bouddhanath, Kathmandu). The School was established by Mr. Binod Lama Yonjon after 25 years of his dedicated hard work with traditional Tibetan thangkas. Binod Art School is well-known by its preciseness and following the Buddhist scriptures. Each thangka is painted with the right motivation, and completed considering 5 prime factors of Tibetan sacred art, such as preciseness, tradition, expression, clarity and finess. The artists of the school work mostly on orders from Tibetan monasteries (for instance, those ones of Drukpa Kagyu, Sakyapa and others) and from buddhist practitioners from all over the world You will never find any mistake in deities' proportions/atributes in thangkas I'm selling, because as a Dharma practitioner I will never deal with commercial thangkas. I really see the danger of commercial thangkas, which are being sold in typical tourist areas or on ethnic handicraft' web-sites: they may look like genuine on the first look, however, created for the sake of money only and by those people, who don't check details in sadhanas, they may have gross and minor mistakes in proportions/atributes and colors of deities. In general, my goal is to be helpful to serious practitioners, who consider thangkas as an aid for practicing rather than just a beautiful exotic painting. Please contact me if you: - want to place a custom order for a thangka of any tantric deity (or/and in a particular style). Usually it takes 2-5 months (depending on complexity) to finish such thangka of an average size.
