Charming Carlton Ware Egg-Cup Set

Carlton Ware egg-cup set, in the embossed “Lettuce and Tomato” pattern, comprising four green egg-cups and a green tray (each with paintress’ mark,) together with pepper and salt dispensers in the shape of tomatoes; the stoppers of which are not original.  Overall length 20cm and width 12.5cm.

No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. In two places on the rim of one egg-cup and one place on the underside of the tray the paint under the glaze seems from the feel of it not to have “taken”. I have tried to show this on one photograph of the egg-cup.
