Commemorative Crown Coin

This prooflike Commemorative Crown Coin was issued to celebrate the marriage of
His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer,
at St Pauls Cathedral on the 29th July 1981.

Obverse:
Conjoined profile portraits of Charles & Diana,
facing left, in portrayal, designed by Philip Nathan
H.R.H. THE PRINCE OF WALES AND LADY DIANA SPENCER

Reverse:
The second (decimal) portrait of the Queen facing right,
designed by Arnold Machin.
