Charles R Darwin FRS - Naturalist & Geologist

This is a framed print of a portrait photograph of Charles Darwin in later years.

Educated at the Universities of Edinburgh & Cambridge, Charles Darwin will always be known for the scientific research he carried out during the 5 year voyage of discovery of HMS Beagle eventually leading to his book, 'On the Origin of Species', in 1859. He was the first to realise and present compelling evidence that species have evolved over time from common ancestors through a process he called natural selection.

Professionally mounted and framed in mahogany & gold as shown or silver (see other examples). The overall dimensions are 10" by 8" and it comes ready to display.
