I like how this book achieves many characters & personalities by using a variety of eyes, ways of sewing facial expressions, plus crocheting different colour yarns to create the mood. A total of approx 35 styles/variations, all are cute and lovely!

     Text is in Japanese ONLY, patterns are in crochet charts, easy to understand if you have done some crochet with International charts. For those who's new to International Symbols, I'll also include my own simple instructions on how to read these symbols and some brief translations but please don't ask me to translate patterns as I'm not really a crocheter (ok, I did learn some when I was little) It was a friend whom helped me to translate the basics.
