THE SMALL PRINT

We are a small family company and our ebay shop is a part-time occupation in a life that includes, among other things, three boisterous boys, five loveable llamas, a cantankerous cat and several sheep along with two other businesses and jobs!  We log into ebay daily during the week but do not always have time to answer queries straight away although we do our best to answer within 24 hours. We are proud of the excellent ebay service we provide and customer satisfaction is very important to us. If you have any queries then please contact us.

Postage and Packaging

Orders are generally sent Royal Mail 2^nd Class, Royal Mail Standard Parcels or for heavier items by Courier (48-72hr). If you would like an item sent by 1^st class, Special Delivery, Recorded Delivery or other service then please contact us before paying so we can adjust the postage and send you an amended invoice.  Once paid for, our standard postage on an item cannot be changed.

We aim to dispatch within 3 working days of receiving cleared payment (usually sooner) but do not generally post on Saturdays.   Please note that for feedback purposes dispatch time is when the item leaves us and not when it is delivered as the efficiency of postage services does vary from time to time and is unfortunately out of our hands.

If you buy more than one item, whether the same or different, the order is generally packaged together and the postage combined. Combined postage costs are not automatically calculated so if you do buy more than one item please contact us before paying and we will adjust the total and send you an amended invoice. If, however  you do buy and pay for items separately and pay by paypal then we will refund any excess postage paid via paypal. For multiple orders, even though the individual items may say 2^nd class postage, the combined order may be sent Standard Parcels if it crosses a weight threshold. If you would rather items be sent 2^nd class then contact us and we will send them individually but there is no combined postage discount in this case. Many of our items are made from natural materials and do vary in weight and size. If an item is lower in weight than expected and therefore at reduced postage we will refund the difference via paypal if this is how you paid.

There may be an increased postage charge for delivery to the Scottish Highlands or outside mainland Britain. This is generally not the case with Royal Mail but for some heavier items or multiple items which are sent by courier this may apply. If delivery is to these areas then please contact us before paying so we can check for you. We cannot dispatch until any postage surcharge has been paid.

Problems

Feedback is very important to us as a small business. If you do have any problems then please contact us so we can rectify the situation. 

For non-delivery of items, please note that Royal Mail does not consider an item lost until 15 days after the latest day that it should have been delivered. If your item has still not arrived after this period is up then please contact us. We will sort out a refund/replacement for you and we deal with the claim to Royal Mail ourselves. If your item has been sent by courier then you can contact us sooner so we can track where the item is.

If any item arrives broken or is damaged in some way then please contact us so we can remedy the situation.

If you wish to return an item for a refund then this must be completed within 14 days of receiving the item. Once the item has been received back by us undamaged, we will refund the cost of the item (not the postage costs) to you.

If you place an order then wish to cancel it before dispatch please contact us as soon as possible . There is no problem with this and we will arrange a transaction cancellation via ebay so we can reclaim our final value fee.
