Accordion folded frieze features themed illustrations by 10 of the world's most accomplished children's illustrators. Closed, the leoperello measures 5" x 8". Unfolded to display all 12 panels (10 illustrated) it measures 8" x 60". Displays very handsomely as a shelf top standing display or could be mounted and framed. Exceptionally uncommon example issued to promote children's reading. Features cat themed illustrations by the following artists:

 Differing slightly from the earlier issued "Bears of the World" this Leoperello is printed on the reverse side of eaxh image and the children's artist who created it. The reverse side has also been printed to allow for each image to be used as a post card. In perhaps the original mailing envelope. Splendid copy.  Fine  Very uncommon
