Catherine Zeta Jones black and white print

It was commissioned by the British men's interest magazine Loaded.

It would make a fantastic Christmas present for any Catherine Zeta Jones fan as only one other similar print has ever been offered for sale before.

Signed limited editions of Derek Ridgers portraits usually sell for many hundreds of pounds (and occasionally a good deal more than that). He has exhibited world-wide and extensively in this country including at the Tate Britain, The Barbican and The National Portrait Gallery, and has also had one man shows at the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Photographers Gallery.

All Derek Ridgers's photographs currently for sale on eBay were printed by himself, in his own darkroom on double weight, fibre based paper and they were always archivally processed (air dried and cold flattened) to museum standards, regardless of end use.

This photograph is signed by the photographer in pencil on the back alongside one of his own stamps.

The condition of the print is perfect with no marks, creases, folds or discolouration. The illustration shown is a flat bed scan of the actual print being offered and also shows the precise edges of the print. The total print size is 40.2cm by 30.5cm, the image size is 32.2cm x 25cm.

This print is extremely unlikely ever be to reprinted by the photographer himself. I'm able to state this fairly categorically as I'm his daughter and I know that he no longer has a darkroom.

His entire archive is being digitised and the need to finance and make room for this process led, between 2004 - 2007, to us selling the majority of his '80s and '90s vintage prints. There are not too many left now and some of this current batch come from a selection originally earmarked for a book. The book is still planned but all these prints have now been scanned and are therefore not strictly needed.

Once this print is sold there's no guarantee that another similar one will ever become available again. So if you want it, this is your chance.
