'Victorian' Rim Latch, this is a dual handed traditional thumb latch in cast iron with brass detail. The latch allows the room to be locked from one side only, ideal for bedrooms and bathrooms where privacy is required. Complete with safety release, facilitating access from outside the room should the need arise. The hand aged Cromwell lock gets its name from its smooth curved back.

This is an authentic reproduction, both the external design and the internal mechanism have been made in exactly the same way as a Victorian lock.

This latch looks great with our Cottage Knobs (see separate listing).
