Stove Woodburner
Taken as part payment for work done, I intended to fit this in my workshop....... however.......time, space, could do with the cash etc....
The stove was in good working order when removed and changed for a smaller model.
I know very little about these stoves (other than what I have learnt from other sellers listings) but I will describe it the best I can.
It measures 36" tall, 26" wide across the feet or approx 22" across the body, 19" deep across the feet or approx 16" across the body.
The top flue outlet is 6" diameter. It also looks like you could change the flue to exit from the back if you had other bits etc. Distance from the centerline of the flue to the back of the stove is five and a half inches, the legs do stick out the back by an extra two inches so allow seven and a half.
Inside, 2 centre back firebricks are cracked but 'locked' in position - other than that they look in good condition. The cracked bricks can been seen in pics 3 & 4.
The riddling grate is broken but still supports what you will be burning.
The glass is intact but gummed. The door seals look ok.
There is a spark guard so it can be run with the doors open.
The damper on top moves freely.
There are air vents directly beneath the windows in the doors and both move/adjust freely on the protruding screws, and presumably there must have been a lever handle to open the doors at some point but this is missing.
There is surface rust and a fresh coat of paint would not hurt.
Cast into the body it states "FOR SOLID WOOD FUEL ONLY"
Needless to say this is incredibly heavy and you will need 2-4 very strong people to lift it.
Collection only from Gillingham, Dorset, SP8. Payment by CASH please.
The auction will run, please don't ask me to end it early.
Thanks for your interest and happy bidding.
