I was in New Zealand in 2001, in a place called Gisborne. This wood washed up in front of me and I brought it home. Its 108cm long by 11cm deep and 2.5cm approx wide. Its dark and hand carved. No idea what wood it is or how old but I would suggest its about 20 year old. Dried out nicely
