A beautifully carved Red Kite which is once again gracing the skies of England. Carved from one piece of  Laburnum (Anagyroides spp). The carving has been executed to show the Kite sitting on a tree stump and turning his head to one side. Not the best photo in the world I will admit but the Laburnum is quite a dark variety making the beautiful detail difficult to pick up on the camera. approx. 7 inches high.
