Carved Limed Oak Antique Dining Table to seat six

A beautiful and very unusual limed oak dining table to seat six.

Has exquisite carving underneath - I doubt that there are many like this still in existence in this country.

A really beautiful and functional piece of furniture.

Underneath and joints in good condition, no worm. The top of one end of the base has been varnished as shown in the photo. The top has been used and abused and is faded and warped with age. There are water stains and splits in the wood as seen in the photographs. There are some tiny pin holes on one edge of the top where some paper was pinned. But nothing a table cloth won’t hide whilst still showing the elaborate carving underneath. Or you could replace the top with glass perhaps to show off the carving. If you think the marks & quirks of age add character you will love it - if not then it may not be for you.
