This is a fine top quality binocular that is in an extremely good condition.

No scratches on any lenses.

  No spotting or debris within or on the 'sensitive' eyepiece lenses.

Minimal paint loss (see pictures)

No dents or dings.

 Both center focus & right diopter adjustment operate very smoothly and correctly.

Very Importantly these binoculars have no double image.

I found the collimation to be very good (zero eyestrain) very relaxing on the eyes.

These are a superb pair of binoculars made by Carl Zeiss the world famous German optical manufactures.

The red velvet lined brown case is also in a very good condition with no splits or tears to leather hinge (see picture)

Some light marks inside and out but nothing serious (see pictures).

The binocular and case straps are also in a very good condition.

Stamped DDR

 Constructed of brass, steel and aluminum, covered with black lacquer and leather, bakelite eyepiece surrounds.

Binoculars will be well packed/padded when posted.

Beware of far Eastern produced Carl Zeiss copies which have a six digit serial number instead of the normal seven. These copies also have a groove running along the circumference of the large central focus wheel.
