Race Car Transporter

Based on fully galvanised 2600kg Woodford Trailer (owned from new), enclosure is made from lightweight box steel frame covered with a continuous fibreglass sheet fitted over last winter. Trailer is insulated with polystyrene between walls is fully waterproof and secure, all doors have key access and a lockable Bradley tow hitch. Rear access is split 50/50 with top half hinged and supported by gas struts, the lower half is fitted with the rear lights and is removable.

Fitted out internally with storage cupboards and tyre rack the trailer has 240v lighting and sockets power by plug in mains lead or generator (not supplied), also fitted with 12v lights, sockets and loading winch all powered from on board battery charged from towing vehicle.

Vehicle storage space 3940mm (12'11") from rear door to cupboards, and 1850mm (6'1") between sides, rear access is 1930mm (6'4") from floor to inside of door frame so easy to stand up inside when its raining! Loading ramps are 1470mm (4'10") and with the front jockey wheel raised allow my race car with 75mm clearance to load easily, ramps are stored below the runways when in transit.

 Trailer has been never been damaged has been fully maintained and operates correctly in every manor.

I have today managed to get the trailer weighed at the local scrap merchants, the trailer without any content in the storage cupboards weighs 1040kg a little heavier than I guessed. This still leaves a carrying capacity in excess of 1500kg I will amend the trailer plate to reflect this.
