This has to be one of the most amazing activities we have to offer, and probably one of the most exciting canyons in Wales.

The full day experience is the same as the  half day but with added Abseil !

Combine the Bridge Abseil & Big Canyon Adventure (including the Flying Fox) for a full on day of activities. This gets our full recommendation. An experience you really won’t forget. This combo is very popular among all our groups.

This canyon has several sections to it. Start with a jump into a plunge pool then make your way down the canyon to a natural rock slide. Once you have descended the slide Its just a short swim out.

After a brisk walk down river we bring you to the top of a 100m slide with plunge pools and drops. Once this has been negotiated you will find yourself on top of a big waterfall. Breathtaking!!

From the top of the waterfall you can launch yourself off and down the “Flying Fox” (an aerial zip line) into the pool below. Splashdown!! 

This activity is great for everyone, you are always roped up where necessary and there is always an easier way to get around the slides and jumps if you wish, so you will never be put in a position you don’t won’t to be in!! This is an amazing place to be!! 

We operate several canyons. Which one we use depends on water levels, goup numbers and dynamics.

  

Location of the experience: Most of our activities are located near Llyn Trawsfyndd (resevior), about 20 minutes West of Bala and 30 mins south of Betws Y Coed - Mid to North Wales

1. Is this for me?
   If you are looking for adventure and want to be in safe hands then we feel this will be for you,
   
2. Do i need to have experience in the activities?
   Not at all. Our activities are designed for the novice, but are still exciting for the more experienced participants.
   
3. Do i need to be fit?
   There is a minimal ammount of effort involved in the activities, however you do not need to be particually fit.
   
4. I can not swim, does this matter?
   All participants are provided with personal flotation devices wich keep you afloat. You do not need to be able to swim.
5. Can i opt out during the activity if i wish?
   Yes. It is possible to opt out before or during any of the activities if you wish.
   
6. Are your instructors qualified?
   All instructors and guuides are fully qualified and experienced. They will encourage and support you throughout the activity.
   
7. Are you acredited and have insurance ?
   Yes the experience supplier holds public and employers liability insurance and are acredited by the Adventurouse Activities Licensing Authority (AALA).
8. What do we need to bring?
   For the canyon and cliff jump bring a towell, trainers/boots, swim shorts/costume. For all other activities we recomend waterproofs and warm clothes.
9. I have bought a voucher from Astrogifts ebay store?
   Astrogifts will send you a nicely presented gift voucher - 1 per person, You will need to call the office to book a date. The voucher will need to be redeemed on the day. Your activity will not go ahead without the voucher.

Health, age etc.
Our activities are for adults and children over 12 years of age. It is your responsibility to inform us should you feel that you may have any medical implications that would make it inadvisable to take part in our activities. We would also recommend consulting your GP and explain to them the activities you wish to undertake.
Weather
On the rare occasion that diverse weather may affect the safety of the activity we may have to cancel. We shall inform you as soon as possible and either offer you an alternative activity or reschedule the activity.

Group booking will be able to experience this as a group on their own where as individuals and small number will be attached to larger groups, a typical group size is 12
