This camera was the second camera of my small company's DVD production arm and can, and has, produced broadcast quality images thanks to the 3-CCD sensors.
It comes with a case, the original battery and two more long life ones, the charger/mains connector and the cables to link it to professional quality microphones. There is also a rain cover (especially for use in the UK!)
To be honest I have not kept strict track of the number of hours but it was only used as the second camera on two productions and I would be surprised if it has totalled 50 hours.
It has been in storage for the past five or six years and, of course, has been superseded by the XM2 - but it remains a good professional camera and will give good service to anyone wanting to make top quality video.
It has really been used as part of a unit and, also listed elsewhere, and pictured with this item are a Manfrotto 502 tripod with a levelling bubble, a gun mike with holder and two windshields, including a hairy one, a hand mike and two 7 metre professional sound cables with fittings.

The camcorder's three 1/4" CCD image sensors deliver high sensitivity and a high dynamic range. Each CCD separately processes each of the three primary colors red, green and blue. Light that passes through the lens is separated by a beam-splitting optical prism into its primary components and is sent to its own CCD. The process achieves outstanding detail and faithful color reproduction.
Advanced CCD technology called Pixel Shift realizes outstanding clarity, natural color, a wide dynamic range, reduced vertical smear and crisp still images. By horizontally shifting the green CCD by one-half pixel and then electronically shifting the green signal vertically by one pixel, Pixel Shift maximizes the system's 270,000-pixel CCDs, achieving high resolution comparable to 410,000-pixel CCD systems.
