As you can see, this is a great quality kit that is very expensive to put together new. Most
people don’t factor in the additional cost of the ancillary items they need. You can grab a real bargain here.

I can post the item, and I’ll certainly take the usual payment methods, but for piece of mind the
buyer might want to meet in person and collect. I’m based on the Isle of Wight but often in Portsmouth or Southampton.

Condition:

The camera is in absolutely flawless cosmetic condition. There are no dents, no marks, no scratches.
Next to a brand new model, you would not be able to distinguish the used item. All the accessories are in similar condition. Even the bag and rainslicker look factory fresh. Mechanically, everything is in great condition and works as it should. More pictures to follow

I have never used this camera in rain, or adverse conditions. Most of the shoots have been corporate style
events in offices etc. Outdoor shoots have only been on sunny days. The camera does not feature an hours meter, but I would estimate it has been on less than 20 shoots since new.

The camera was purchased brand new from a reputable UK company. It is an official UK model. I have all the original
paperwork and reciept.

Reason for sale:

I am currently working with a new business partner, and find myself editing more than shooting. My partner owns several
cameras already. It seems a waste to have money tied up in this camera.

Four-Channel Audio

Still Image Recording
In addition to all of the features and capabilities you'd expect from a Canon HD camcorder, the XL H1 also gives you the flexibility to record still images. The images can be captured at full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080), with all the custom settings. With many pre- and post-production, storyboarding, and continuity applications, still image recording is just another way the XL H1 delivers versatility.

HDV Recording

The XL H1 is capable of recording and playing back high-definition (HD) images using DV cassette tapes. The camcorder records in HDV1080i and uses a Mode Select and a Frame Rate dial to select HD signals or SD signals and the frame rate. Under the "HDV1080i" (HDV) specifications, 1,440 x 1,080 (16:9) images in 50 fields are recorded. (50i recording). There is also the facility to record and playback DV.
