Up for auction is a Canon Digital Microfilm Scanner Microfiche Model M31016 with Controller Model MGI-1538 and Canon Autocarrier / Microfilm Feeder Model 100R all in good used cosmetic condition.  The case to the unit has few to no scratches or scuffs on it due to normal wear and tear.  The screen is still in pristine condition and shows no signs of visible damage on it.  The unit is missing its main lense, so a replacement needs to be purchased elsewhere before use.  The autocarrier / microfilm feed is in excellent physical condition.  The controller unit is also in good condition and all of the buttons / controls seem to be in good working order.  Please refer to the provided pictures for details.

We powered on the unit and were able to test some of the controls.  Unfortunately, without a lense we were unable to focus the image displayed on the screen.  We were able to get the base colors of the slide to show up but were unable to distinguish any images.  We then tested the controls on the controller pad which all seem to be in working order. Last we tested the feed controls on the autocarrier which also seems to be working correctly.  When you pressed the button the rollers on each side of the feed would rotate at the same rate.  We were unable to adjust this rate with the controller, however, so that might not be one of its features.

Other than powering on the unit and testing each of its controls, no further testing was done to the item.  This particular model has power requirements of 120 volts, 3.1 amps, and basic 50/60 Hz.  Included in this purchase is a detachable 3-prong NEMA 5/15 power cord.  Due to seeing no functional problems with the microfilm scanner, we must sell this item as in working order and as described.
