This is a very portable scanner. It is slim and compact. It does not need a separate power source! It needs only one USB cable with carries signal and power. I used it to take everywhere with my laptop(libraries ect.) to do scans without dependence from an external power socket. The scanner perfectly fits in the bag with a laptop. It has small wearing marks on the lid. In full working order. Produces some noise when scanning, but it’s normal for these canon scanners.
