Canon 28mm F2.8 FD in Excellent condition. At one time it seemed like almost every Canon owner had a 28mm FD lens in their kitbag. It was inexpensive, high quality and compact. Now difficult to find in good condition, they remain a popular lens. With's it's Canon SSC ( Super Spectra Coating ), the lens is well protected from flare. It's seven element design gives high contrast and excellent resolving power. It's also one of the lightest lens wihin the Canon FD system.
The constant F2.8 aperture is a real bonus in low light or for available light photography. Not only does it allow for higher shutter speeds, but the extra brightness in the viewfinder makes for easier focusing.
An ideal companion to the 50mm standard lens, a 28mm gives almost 50% more coverage and is ideal for landscapes, scenic or interior shots. The fast F2.8 aperture lets in plenty of light to aid focusing and maintain high speeds in low light. Ideal for the occasional user, image quality is still high and the lens is well corrected.
The lens is in excellent condition and has small user marks. There is wear on the aperture ring and around the mount section. They are light and not that noticeable. Focusing is smooth and controlled and the aperture stopdown is precise.
